Butler Fleet Maintenance and Consulting Inc. is looking for full time Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician at 95 Flank Rd, Hamilton, ON L8L 5X5, Canada. There are 6 positions available.

Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Perform general services and preventive maintenance on a variety of Heavy Equipment (i.e., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, John Deere, Grove, Linkbelt, Bobcat, etc.)
• Check bulldozers, cranes, marine, graders, paving and other heavy construction, agricultural, logging and mining equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose defects and malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, determine severity, repair and replace defective parts, components and systems
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, using hand and power tools
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• May perform repair work on heavy trucks
• May attach components and adjust new farm equipment.

Hours of work are Mon-Fri, total of 42.5 hours/week. Pay is $30/hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.
