This handsome young man was trapped when one of our volunteers was trapping feral cats to be fixedyou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website he is fiv/leukemia negative, current on vaccines, flea and worm treated and microchip she realized that he was not at all feral and would not do well in the colony he is a very sweet boy and must have been owned at one timevisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet

Angel is very friendly and loves to hang out with the staff and volunteerswe don't know about her life before heartland, but we do know that it takes awhile for her to trust new peopleangel arrived at heartland as a stray, and although many potential adopters have expressed interest in her, she still hasn't met her perfect match angel is stressed at the shelter and does not like to be combed or brushed so our groomers give her an adorable lion cut a couple times a yearif you get out her favorite fishing toy, she'll show you some awesome movesthere is only one word that can describe angel--exquisite! she is a long-hair black and white cat with, well, exquisite markingsangel's perfect guardian will be patient and lovingplease give her a chance

Sweet and so willing, callie just wants to please and be comforted by the volunteersan energetic, happy campershe began gaining weight and is now a perfectly proportioned horsecallie, 8 years old but about 4 years old in her training, now gets regular lessons for 1 hour from serra's trainer in natural horsemanshipin fact, she visited the volunteer kitchen and nosed around in the fridge looking for carrotsa victim of the economic downturn, her owner could no longer afford her and coupled with a foreclosure, callie was going to be without a home in a mere 9 dayscallie loves to learn! curious about everything and what is in her environmenther confidence in us and all the handlers is growingwhen callie arrived, dr ahern, who has been callies' vet, gave callie her vaccinationsshe had her long overdue dental work completed to rid her of 2 bad hooks on the front molarsshe's just a big lap dogcallie came to to serra's ranch febsmart girl! callie is good for the farrier, vets, trailer loads and need more seasoning on trailwe separated all the injections by one week so that she was not slammed with them all at oncethe responsible owner contacted us through a good friend's encouragement, and callie did not need to go to the auction yard which is a one way ticket to slaughter

One of the kind volunteers is now fostering me, and i am thriving in my foster homei am nancy, and i came to the humane society kennel as a stray several years agoi am good on a leashi'm looking for that special home who wants a quiet, smart senior dogi'm very quiet and not a jumperi have a pretty, brown brindle coati am a senior girl and the humane society says i am eligible for the guardian angel fund which helps new owners with medical bills for my senior needs in future, should they arisei always let you know when i'm ready to go outside for a bathroom breakmy foster mom thinks i am partly greyhound, because have long legs and a longish snout

Hard to believe that he was on death row at an oc shelter and only made it out due to the dedication of a few of the shelter workers and volunteers who brought him to our attentionthis blue-nosed pit mix with the crossed eyes and extra long tail would be the perfect successor to scooby-doo! mr s is just oozing with charismaif ever there were a dog that should have his own animated tv show it would be shaughnessyit's onward and upward for shaughnessythe future looks bright for sachi's newest superstar!in fact everyone he meets is his new best friendhe moved right into one of our amazing foster homes where he is playing non-stop with his new canine best friend

I also have lots of different voices that i like to use - it keeps the volunteers on their toes!i came to live at the refuge because my dad worked long hours and didn't feel as though i was getting enough attentioni am quite a sweethearthello there! i'm caesar - thanks for stopping by my profileonce i settled in at the refuge and got into the swing of things, i made lots of friendsi've got a large vocabulary, although sometimes i don't speak my words as clearly as i should

While he's still settling into his new surroundings at our cat adoption center, he's allowing volunteers to pet him and rub his belly for most cats there is an adjustment period getting used to all their new house matesbilly is a handsome medium haired orange tabby who was lucky enough to find shelter just before the last snowstorm and single digit temperatures the eapl cat adoption center is located at chow down pet supply in evergreen come and meet his wonderful boy he must have known that his rescuer has many cats (thus the reason she was not able to keep him); that this was a safe place to find warmth and food billy did great during his vetting; already neutered; and for being left outside he's in great shape

She has been well socialized here at longmeadow by our volunteers and staffharper was born here at the ranch, and has been a healthy and friendly girlher mom was rescued from a neglectful home while she was pregnant with harperharper is a well-mannered and sweet 7-month-old gypsy vanner mixwe ask that she go to a home with another horseharper will make a great companion and enjoys learning groundworkshe will need to continue her groundwork training and when old enough, be started training under saddle by a professional traineradoption fee: $400harper is available for adoption only to a home with experience working with foals and other young horses

Maybe they just thought he wasn't worth it- well twix sat on the back porch waiting for someone to let him in- day after day no one came! finally his cries at the back door were heard by one of our volunteershe is already neutered and not having his meical history we just had him vaccinated and tested for fiv/felv which he is negative forshe went into the yard and he came right over as though he was asking her to open the door for himtwix is a wonderful pet! we cannot understand how this family could just leave him behind- he is so loyal! he is a large cat and gets along with all the other cats he has met in his current foster homewon't you open your heart and home for twix and give him the loving family he so deservesbeing in rescue we see alot of stuff- but having one of our neighbors move out and leave behind twix was so upsetting

Don't let his tough guy looks fool you - volunteers describe apollo as a "goofy cuddle bugcome meet this gentle giant and see if he doesn't steal your heart!" this sweet senior is also a champion ball player, loves a good game of fetch, and likes to drink from the hose (which is pretty darn cute!)apollo has lived in a home and has great manners, so he's ready to be your new best friend now
