The fact that this thing still runs is a testament to toro - this mower is a beastself drive still works in all 3 gears but i had to pin the pinions to the axle due to wear and slippageto stop the beast you have to separate the contacts using a garden implement of some kindthrottle cable busted long ago and as such there is a piece of coat hanger hooked around the throttle for startingrip cord has broken twice - so its nice and shortoh yah, the treads have been bald for yearsif you want this mower for free come and get it - full disclosure this mower is a piece of sh*ti'll show you this important detail
