In the late 70's my husband and i purchased several pieces of drexel heritage solid wood furniturei have 6 matching chairs (4 side chairs and 2 arm chairs)the server is on casters and has a black slate insert in the topit comes with 2 leaves which then seats 12it was madehere in the usa and it was made when the furniture was all wood with no artificial componentsthis is very nice furniturewhen i need more chairs i would use upholstered chairsthe china is lighted and large enough to easily hold a service for 12 in china and crystalthe table seats 6 without leaves
