However, the shelter staff fell in love with this friendly guy and called our rescue for help as their only recourse was to put him downbevo was a life-long companion to his former owner until she had to go into a nursing home, and as a result, he was taken to the shelter he also loves to go on walks or ride in the car he is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on shotsbevo is an 9-year-old male lhasa apso mix that weighs 17 pounds he gets along well with other dogs and appears to pretty much ignore catsbevo needs a loving home to call his own note that there is a reduced adoption fee for senior dogs he is a perfect companion as he is very low maintenance and loves to come up to his human for belly rubs or to play fetch despite being a senior, he is in perfect health and has lots of love to give
