A caring neighbor fed her for awhile, but then realized shelby would need to find a new homeshelby came to alex's house emaciated and heartworm positiveshelby was abandoned in her yard when her owners moved awaybecause so long as she is heartworm positive, she has to be kept very quiet and can't run and playshe is now of normal weight and will hopefully be heartworm negative someday soon

Luckily a neighbor was wise to what had happened and scooped him up before anything could happen to him recently vetted and neutered, he's getting adjusted to his new surroundings at the cat adoption center, hosted by chow down in evergreen oreo got along great with her dog, who took to the cat very well oreo's old family had 4 young children so he's not an issue for a family, large or small because his rescuer is caring for a slightly cat aggressive dog, she was unable to keep him, although it was a tough decision for her more than worth a trip to meet this lovable boy small for his age (just a year old), oreo has such a wonderful personality and loving demeanororeo was abandoned outside to fend for himself after his folks moved out of state
