Pay rate for this job is $15/hour shift timings - 1st shift (day) responsibilities: take instructions from foundry lead person to determine work processes weigh specified amounts of materials as needed by each project module use various hand tools such as grinders and mallets assemble flasks and water and mix sand shovel sand into flasks, and compacts sand in flasks install and remove steel jackets and bands used for holding snap molds together sort casting into pairs, and pull reinforcing wires from castings remove castings from molds and place them on setting ringsovens adjust dials and gauges to ensure proper heat distribution ensure that all work areas are properly cleaned and maintained making sand molds with chemically bonded sand qualifications be aware of operating all the equipment's and machineries properly use all the safety precautions to be taken while working must be physically fit for tolerating the manual work must be able to stand, bend and twist up to 10 hours a day   whether you’re looking for work, or you’re seeking workers for your business, peopleready is the north american leader in the industrial and on-demand staffing spacebecause we’ve been providing staffing solutions, putting people to work, for nearly 30 years the peopleready located at lewiston, maine, is currently hiring a no bake filler job description we have immediate openings for a motivated individual to work at a local established company that makes high-quality ductile iron castingsit’s what we knowwe are peopleready  staffing
